""My works are a reflection of all that I see and those I know.  I have observed that a flower, like a woman, is a delicate creation.  Yet they each have strengths that enable them to prevail over adversity".

Vie Dunn-Harr, Painter.  Born in San Antonio, Texas (USA) in 1953.  Dunn-Harr found her artistic expression slowly, yet deliberately, and continues to explore the many possibilities in the arts.  She studied in Florence, Italy at the Lorenzo de Medici Instituto de Arte and at the Toblach-Dobbiaco Academia Italia.  She derived much of her early experience from the traditional school and continues to embrace formalism.  Her works are organic forms rooted in architectural elements.  The forms are sensuous and portray the force and fragility of nature.  Dunn-Harr considers herself a contemporary painter and has exhibited in the USA, Europe and Mexico.

"The Visage Collection began initially to explore another expression in painting and to separate the works distinctly from the style in which I have worked for over 30 years as Vie Dunn-Harr. As a painter, I tried for many years to release an abstraction within. I found it impossible to do so, without separating the two bodies of work. The name Visage was chosen out of love and affection for my mother Virginia Visage, Visage being her family name. As I have always related to this name, I believe it to be genuinely a part of who I am and will present another depth of myself under this umbrella."
